Refund Policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026
This policy explains when we refund an Athlo.fit subscription, how to request it and how long it takes. It applies to every paid plan purchased through the platform and complements the Terms and Conditions.
We keep it simple: you never need to explain why. If your case falls under any of the situations below, we refund the full amount.
1. Right of withdrawal (10 days)
Under article 34 of Argentine Consumer Protection Law 24,240, you may revoke the purchase of a paid plan within 10 (ten) calendar days from the first charge, with no reason required and at no cost.
This right cannot be waived and applies to the first purchase of each plan, monthly or annual. Exercising it refunds that charge in full, even if you used the app during those days.
2. Automatic renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, monthly or annual, using the payment method registered with Mercado Pago. We email you every time a charge goes through.
If a renewal was charged and you did not intend to continue, you may request a full refund of that renewal within 7 (seven) calendar days of the charge. Doing so cancels the subscription and ends access to the paid plan at that moment.
After those 7 days the renewal is considered accepted and is not refunded. You can still cancel, and you keep access until the end of the period already paid.
3. Mid-period cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Subscription tab of your profile. Cancelling triggers no additional charge or penalty.
When you cancel, you keep access to the paid plan until the end of the current period, after which the account moves to the free plan. Unused time in a period already paid is neither refunded nor prorated, unless one of the situations in sections 1 or 2 applies.
4. Changing plans
When you switch to another plan or billing frequency, the new plan is charged in full at that moment and replaces the previous one immediately.
Unused time on the previous plan is neither credited nor refunded. If your current period is far from ending, it is best to wait for it to finish before switching.
5. What is not refunded
Outside the situations above we do not issue refunds. In particular, the following is not refunded:
- Unused time in a period already paid, when you cancel outside the windows in sections 1 and 2.
- A renewal charged more than 7 days ago.
- The previous plan when switching plans.
- Accounts suspended or closed for breaching the Terms and Conditions.
- Exchange-rate differences, bank fees or taxes applied by your bank or card issuer.
6. How to request a refund
Email us at soporte@athlofit.com.ar from the address on your account, stating the plan and the date of the charge. You do not need to explain why.
We reply within 5 (five) business days. If the request falls under this policy, the refund is issued within that same window.
Refunds always go back to the payment method used for the purchase, through Mercado Pago. Once issued, the time until the money shows up depends on Mercado Pago and your bank or card issuer, and is usually between 3 and 20 business days.
7. Effect on your account
When a refund is issued, the refunded subscription is cancelled and the account moves to the free plan. Your data, routines, plans and records are kept; you only lose access to the paid plan's features.
A chargeback (a dispute opened with your bank or card issuer) has the same effect as a refund. Please write to us before opening one: sorting the refund out with us is faster for you.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes apply to charges made after publication and never reduce the rights the law grants you.
